Nearly 30 years ago, we planted a small eucalyptus tree in front of the farmhouse. Its trunk could be circled with the palm of a hand, and it was no taller than a bush. Now it stands towering, lush, always dancing to the rhythm of our tramontana wind. Hence the name of this room, one of our largest and most spacious rooms. Like all our rooms, it has all the amenities: a very spacious bathroom with a huge shower, a comfortable large bed for resting, a sofa, fridge, air conditioning and heating, a closet, and a desk. Outside, in the shade of the eucalyptus, and in front of our breakfast lounge, there’s a fantastic porch to read, have a glass of wine, or simply relax while watching the immense and unyielding tree sway around, spreading its characteristic scent into the air.
